KML Files
KML Data is Keyhole Markup Language, the file format for Google Earth.
All districts of a single type are included in a each file, with latitude longitude data points.
This data contains both the polygon and a marker, with a blank description and a gray scale color for every district. None of the demographic or legislator data is attached. These files are also zipped, ending with .kmz or just as a plain zip file - this means to access the data as plain text you first must unzip the data with WinZip or something similar. If you wish to use the XML file format I use on this site, download the zip file from below. Included in this file is the State Senate, State House, and U.S. Congressional Districts, 107 files in total.
The file format for this data is as follows: State House Districts - disthd##.xml State Senate Districts - distsd##.xml U.S. Congressional Districts - distus##.xml THe ## code is the district number, starting with 01.
