Finding Districts
NOTE: While the districts are currently correct, the representatives are not updated on this page only. If you go to that district web page on this site, everything should be corrected.
This page allows you find your districts, either by clicking on the map or typing in your full address. The alternative is to click on the map, which will run the district search from the clicked point on the map. You can still zoom (top left corner of the map) and drag the map without initiating a search. Your clicked point or address point will appear a a red marker with a dot in it, and the three district types will be overlayed onto the map.
The markers are numbered by district to prevent any confusion over
which district is which. The color of the marker indicates the current affiliation of the elected person to
the seat, while the boundaries delinate the type of district. If you click on the marker, a window will appear that has a
link that will take you a page with that district map and information about that district.
Disclaimer
If the Point Precision in the address box has a green "BEST POSSIBLE" text, it has found the most accurate position possible (the entire address). If the text is red, it has only found the street, city or zip code, which means it is not as accurate as possible.
Note that this doesn't mean that the system has found your exact location, especially if you live exactly on a boundary street. I don't collect your address, nor do I wish or want any logs of such information. If you are really paranoid, put your friendly neighbor's address in instead.
If there are any problems with this map, please let webmaster know of the error. As always, due to errors between the data and Google Maps, these maps should not be taken as definitive proof of one's current representatives. If your point lies on a boundary, the district maps and the address geocode may be different, leading to the wrong district being chosen for you.
